The Elton John AIDS Foundation is partnering with Frontline AIDS on our second round of emergency funding for people living with and affected by HIV during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this partnership, the Foundation will draw on Frontline AIDS’ experience to ensure funding reaches even more of those in the greatest need – including the LGBT community, sex workers, people living with HIV and people who use drugs.

Anne Aslett, Chief Executive Officer at the Elton John AIDS Foundation, talks to Christine Stegling, Executive Director at Frontline AIDS, about our previous work together on the LGBT Fund.

Our second round of COVID-19 emergency funding will expand Frontline AIDS’ existing Rapid Response Fund, pioneered under a previous partnership between the Foundation and Frontline AIDS, to provide emergency grants in 47 countries across sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean and Southeast Asia.

Hear more from Anne and Christine as they discuss the challenges that communities are facing and the importance of continuing to protect those most vulnerable.
